Visual artist and musician Leo Robinson has announced his debut solo album, The Temple, and has shared a new single in the form of 'The Serpent'. Primarily known for scoring his art exhibitions and artistic performances, the album is set to be a gentle folky affair that, in a way that is similar to his visual arts, incorporates mythic imagery and elements of folklore to tell stories. The first single 'The Serpent' is a brief but beautiful track, Leo's tender vocals steadily leading a procession of flutes, cello and soft horns. He explains the meaning behind the song: "Its based on my own personal experiences but with an overall narrative arc that is fairly universal to both an individual’s spiritual development and humanity’s archetypal stories. This song deals with carnal desire, chaos and conception – wild dogs and serpents – a mythologized origin or creation story."
